Teaching Suggestion: Students may find it beneficial to analyze the various feelings Jay Berry experiences throughout his interaction with the monkeys. Students can create a graphic organizer by dividing paper into four sections to describe when Jay Berry feels excitement, frustration, fear, and compassion.
